Courtland representative, Greg Snider, will be at River City Fly
Shop with all Cortland fly rods to be tested by the public.
If you always wanted to be able to compare the rods, and see how
they through a line be sure to not miss this event. Greg
will have the following available:
- All Cortland rods
- Hardy rods
- Hardy reels

We now carry Buelah fly rods and matching fly lines designed
specifically for each rod

you purchase any Buelah fly rod you can purchase a Beulah fly line
designed for and matched to the rod. Fly line is designed
by Bruce S Berry of Mainstream Outdoors. If we don't have in
stock the exact rod you are looking for we can order it for you
today.

At River City, we carry rods from G. Loomis, Thomas &
Thomas, Albright, Echo, Lamiglass, Temple Fork Outfitters, Beulah, and many
others. To compliment our line of rods we carry reels in a variety of
styles and price-points to suit your personal needs. To name a few, we
carry Galvan, Lamson, Old Florida, Teton, Temple Fork Outfittters, Dan
Bailey, Albright, Echo, and Loomis. For waders and boots, choose from
Dan Bailey, and Chota.
Our selection of fly tying materials is extensive -- one of the largest
you'll find anywhere in the States. Feathers, furs, synthetic materials
and more; if you don't find what you want on the walls, just ask! We
probably have what you need in the back of the shop or can order it for
you. In addition, we also have a wide range of vise makes and styles as
well as an extensive array of tools.
Whether you are looking for a rod and reel outfit for the beginner
or expert, searching for that unusual tool, gadget, book, or other
accessories we probably have it. There are float tubes, pontoons and
associated accessories in stock.
Challenge deciding what to give the fly fisherman that has everything or
unsure what you need? We have gift certificates.
Fly tying classes for all skill levels are offered on a regular
basis and our teachers are some of the finest tyers in the Northwest.

Fly casting classes can be arranged most any time of the year.

Guided trips can be arranged for you to some of the finest trout
